The supreme end of man is to know God.
Knowing Him is the greatest and highest privilege for mankind.
Man was born to fellowship with God, with Jesus Christ.
Someone may ask, what is God like? What is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit like?
He is the most wonderful, most beautiful Person in the universe.

What is the presence of Jesus like?
Jesus said, “Again, the kingdom of heaven [which is filled with the presence of Jesus] is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it” (Matthew 13:44-46).

What is the presence of Jesus like?
On the 1 to 10 scale, He is infinity.
His presence is Him: the Lord God Almighty.
He is beyond words . . . beyond description.
If humans wanted to fully express His presence, all the proclamations of Him, in all of human history, all combined together, even if human history lasted for eternity, would be the equivalent of one drop of water compared to all the waters and oceans of the earth, multiplied times infinity.

The Glorious Splendor of His Majesty

Some of the ways the Lord God Almighty is described in the Bible:

“The glorious splendor of Your majesty” . . . “treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” . . . “The riches of the glory of the mystery” . . . (Psalm 145:5, Matthew 13:44-46, Colossians 1:27).

What is the Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit like?

“On the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works, will I meditate” (Psalm 145:5).

“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold/gaze at/see the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire/seek Him in His temple” (Psalm 27:4, various translations).

Some translations, in place of beauty, say “splendor, delightfulness, sweetness, perfections, graciousness, goodness.”
For Lord, some translations are “Lord Jehovah, Jehovah, Yahweh.”
