This week W&R continues the series “The Glory of the Lord” with a focus on the theme of the Gospel of John: Jesus is the Son of God and the Lord God Almighty. Amen!

The only true God has revealed Himself as the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
He is an eternal revelation.
His presence, the presence of God and of Jesus Christ, fills the universe and the earth.
Those who make it to heaven will be in awe of Him, forever.
They will be in awe of the Father God Almighty, who gave and gives His Son Jesus to the world; of Jesus Christ who gave and gives Himself to humanity; and of the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of the Father and of Jesus Christ.
They will be in awe of the Lord God Almighty who gives His Son and His Son’s name to the world.

The only true God is an eternal mystery and revelation.
Yet, He has revealed Himself as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
He is so glorious, so wonderful, so powerful – and infinitely, eternally more – He is beyond human comprehension and words.
He is indescribable, incomprehensible, unfathomable . . . omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent . . . life, love, eternity . . . holy . . . and infinitely more.
Yet, He has revealed Himself.
He is no longer a mystery.
He is available.
He is a present reality.
The only true God, the infinite, eternal mystery, can be summed up in one word, one name, one Person: Jesus.
