Man was born to fellowship with God . . . forever.
The supreme end of man is to know Him.
The end result is fellowship . . . with the only true God . . . the Father, Jesus & the Holy Spirit.
Those who make it to heaven will fellowship with Him, forever.
What is He like?
He is the most wonderful, most beautiful Person in the universe.
Jesus knocks on the door of every person’s heart. He who opens the door, Jesus will, ultimately, fellowship with him. He calls it “dine/sup with him” (Revelation 3:20).
Jesus becomes that person’s food, drink, water . . . their everything (John 6).
When someone is born of water and the Spirit, the second phase of knowing God, they enter the kingdom of God and can begin to know His glory (John 3:5).
Tragically, as Jesus revealed, most people will not get saved (Matthew 7:13-14). They miss out on eternal life, heaven, and . . . fellowship with God.
Fellowship is the fourth phase of knowing Him: the anointing (John 7:37-39).
Every believer has the anointing in their spirit person (1 John 2:20). They have the glory of God within them – and all around them (Psalm 139:7-10).
The anointing, the presence of Jesus, cannot be put into human words.
For all eternity, those in heaven will never be able to express Him in words.
Even unbelievers are surrounded by God’s glory, though they do not realize it.
God made them in His image. Jesus died for them. God wants them to spend eternity in heaven. The choice between God and self is up to them.
It is a mystery of the kingdom that God would give Himself to every person, in the way that He does.
To think that God would offer to fellowship with a person is an unspeakable mystery.
The only true God offers and gives Himself in totality to the world and to every person, for eternity.
He believes in every person. All He asks is that a person believe in Him.
Tragically, those who say no to Him face an eternity in the lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41).
Those who say yes to Him will fellowship with Him, forever.
Lord, continue to send revival. Send out laborers to the harvest. Thank you Jesus!
