The Invisible Realm

Gen. 1:1,2

In the beginning-

Bara- translated beginning- better translation would be “In the dateless past”

Created (brought out of nothing)

And the earth

Bara sheet elohim bara . . .

Ageless verse- no beginning

Trinity is introduced- “-him” is plural in Hebrew. Elohim is plural for God

Shemyam- “heavens”

There are three heavens:

First heaven- Gen. 1:8- our atmosphere

Second heaven- Eph. 6- where principalities and powers are

Third heaven- Corinth.- where Paul went

Haya- “became”- King James translates this as “was”

Something took place between verse one and two.

The Bible interprets

Whatever God creates and makes is perfect

Deut. 32:4- His work is perfect.

Isaiah 45:18- God created not in vain. It was created to be inhabited.

Created the heavens

formed, made the earth

Eccl. 3:11- everything beautiful

Ps. 18:30-

Gen. 1:1

The earth was formless and empty and dark and flooded

Flood- the spirit of God moved on the face of the waters

Something happened!

Millions of believers believe the earth is 6,000 yrs old.

It is not.

Science proves that the Bible is accurate.

What happened between Gen. 1:1 and 1:2?

“Let there be light”

Let- a word of permission, NOT creation

“Let there be a firmament”- God dividing waters from waters

There was a flood

God restoring the atmosphere of the earth

  1. 7- God made the firmament

asa- “made”- means “to make, to mold, to form”- God forming, NOT building, which is word for building Eve.

“God called the firmament heaven.”

  1. 9- “Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together…Let the dry land appear”—the dry land was covered with water, flooded.
  2. 11- “let the earth bring forth grass, herb, tree, seed…”
  3. 14- “Let there be lights…” He restores the sun, moon, stars

Let, let, let, let

Conclusion- Gen. 1 from verse 3 on is a work of restoration, not creation.

Gen. 1:1, and 1:2

Earth is formless, empty, dark. What happened?

Job 9

The fall of Lucifer

The war began between God and the devil

Rebellion of Satan

The destruction of the earth and its inhabitants, which are today’s demons

The fall of innumerable numbers of angels, which are now bound with chains in the underworld

God Almighty lost

The earth was destroyed because of the rebellion of Satan

Job 9:1

  1. 7-

There was a time in earth’s history that God was so angry, that he removed the mts., he overturned them, He shook the earth out of its place where the pillars that help the earth trembled. He commanded the sun not to shine. He sealed up the stars.

It has not happened since Adam walked on earth.

  1. 8- restoration; also in Gen. 1:2

Gen. 1:2 in Hebrew: “the earth becomes formless and empty”

Jer. 4:23-26- Jer. had a vision

I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void;
And the heavens, they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled,
And all the hills moved back and forth.
25 I beheld, and indeed there was no man,
And all the birds of the heavens had fled.
26 I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness,
And all its cities were broken down
At the presence of the Lord,
By His fierce anger.

“The whole land shall be desolate;
Yet I will not make a full end.

A perfect picture of Gen. 1, Job 9

No man, but he saw birds

Saw an earth that was destroyed.

Saw a fruitful place destroyed

Gen. 1-

Jer. 4:23- He was seeing it in reverse; He was seeing the destruction

Man à then no man

Birds à no birds

fruitful place à wilderness

Gen 1

Wilderness à Fruitful place

No animals à He creates them

No man à He created him

Jer. 4:23- “Cities

Positive to the negative

Let the Bible interpret the Bible

“Yet will I not make a full end.” = God will rebuild it. He is not done with it. He will restore it.

Is. 24:1

Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste,
Distorts its surface
And scatters abroad its inhabitants.

He will restore it.

Inhabitants- today’s demons

Gen. 1

  1. 9- the earth was flooded

When God turned the earth upside down and it was flooded, Job 9 says it was flooded in His anger.

  1. 9- He restores the earth to its original form,

HS came moving on the face of the waters

No sun was shining. It was like a frozen ball of ice in space.

It’s destruction was sudden.

Scientists have found the results of the destruction and are still trying to figure out what happened. Dinosaurs were destroyed suddenly.

Job 38:1-

Angels were rejoicing

This happened after Satan’s fall

When God restored the earth, when He laid the foundations again. The angels were watching, as they has already been created.

Job 38:25-30- Earth frozen in space

Earth was green, beautiful.

Verse 30- destruction

Ps. 104

About the pre-adamic flood, also in Gen. 1:2, Job 9

“covered it with the deep”- his anger

  1. 7- “at your rebuke they fled, at the voice of your thunder”- when did He rebuke waters? At the flood of Noah, it took 120 days for the water to subside. This flood was removed in a split second. That happened in Gen. 1:8, when he restored the earth.

Is. 14

King of Babylon is the Antichrist

Approx. Verses 3-8 also applies to satan

Is. 14:9-21

“Hell from beneath is excited about you,
To meet you at your coming;
It stirs up the dead for you,
All the chief ones of the earth;
It has raised up from their thrones
All the kings of the nations.
10 They all shall speak and say to you:
‘Have you also become as weak as we?
Have you become like us?
11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol,
And the sound of your stringed instruments;
The maggot is spread under you,
And worms cover you.’

“How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer,[b] son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
13 For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’
15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit.

16 “Those who see you will gaze at you,
And consider you, saying:
‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble,
Who shook kingdoms,
Who made the world as a wilderness
And destroyed its cities,
Who did not open the house of his prisoners?’

18 “All the kings of the nations,
All of them, sleep in glory,
Everyone in his own house;
19 But you are cast out of your grave
Like an abominable branch,
Like the garment of those who are slain,
Thrust through with a sword,
Who go down to the stones of the pit,
Like a corpse trodden underfoot.
20 You will not be joined with them in burial,
Because you have destroyed your land
And slain your people.
The brood of evildoers shall never be named.
21 Prepare slaughter for his children
Because of the iniquity of their fathers,
Lest they rise up and possess the land,
And fill the face of the world with cities.”

This is before Adam was created and ever walked on earth.

  1. 12- “nations”- when Satan was cast out of heaven to earth, nations existed on earth- another proof of the pre-Adamic era
  2. 13- Lucifer looks up- where was he? On earth.

His throne- he had a kingdom

“the stars of God”- Job 38 says “where were you Job when the stars of heaven sang together,” which refers to the angels of heaven singing and rejoicing at God’s restoration and work. Lucifer wants to ascend above the angels.

  1. 14-

“I will ascend above clouds”—reaffirms that he was below them.

El-Elyon- Most High God

“brought down to hell, to the pit”- Why is he on earth? The devil was in hell before Adam was created, but he came visiting the earth to see if he can regain his position.

“They that see you, is this the man who made the earth tremble…that did shake”–  “They”- demons in the pit; the inhabitants that were destroyed at the rebellion.

  1. 15- “he went to the pit,” which is the abode of demons acc. to Rev. 9

“Are you become weak like we are?”

  1. 17- who made the world a wilderness

Jer 4- “fruitful place became a wilderness”- who did that? Lucifer

  1. 18 – these words were spoken by satan to demons. These were not spoken by men.

Ezek. 28:1

“You were the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.
The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes
Was prepared for you on the day you were created.

14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you.

16 “By the abundance of your trading
You became filled with violence within,
And you sinned;
Therefore I cast you as a profane thing
Out of the mountain of God;
And I destroyed you, O covering cherub,
From the midst of the fiery stones.

17 “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;
I cast you to the ground,
I laid you before kings,
That they might gaze at you.

18 “You defiled your sanctuaries
By the multitude of your iniquities,
By the iniquity of your trading;
Therefore I brought fire from your midst;
It devoured you,
And I turned you to ashes upon the earth
In the sight of all who saw you.
19 All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you;
You have become a horror,
And shall be no more forever.”’”

He is mainly talking to antichrist in v. 1-11

  1. 12- the devil

verse 1

Tyrus- center of idolatry.

Before the fall

Two Edens- the Adamic Eden and the Pre-Adamic Eden

Pre-Adamic- belonged to Lucifer

Adamic- belonged to Adam

Covered with jewels-

Lucifer was created with musical instruments in his being. He was in charge of worship in heaven.

He was the anointed

He had two positions:

The only other being with more than one heaven is Christ

Lucifer was next in his position

God the Father

God the Son

God the Holy Spirit

Then Lucifer

Honored above all other angels

Anointed cherub

Lucifer was only angel with two positions

He was anointed

He was on the holy mountain of God

He walked on the stones of fire.

This is right in front of the Throne in heaven.

Exodus 24:10,17

When Israel saw God, they saw the stones in front of Him, like a sea of glass, like crystal.

He was privileged to walk before the throne of God.

Lucifer was perfection iteself. Perfec tin beauty

He walked back & forth in front of the throne

He was the worshipper of the Godhead.

God gave him to be ruler over the earth.

A third of the angels were under Lucifer, a third under Gabriel, and a third under Michael.

Lucifer and a third of the angels had dominion over the earth. Their job was to give the worship of the earth to God and the laws of God to the earth.

  1. 15- this could have been for a period of innumerable years.
  2. 16- God is going to throw lucifer out of God’s kingdom

mountain of God = His Govt

There were kings, inhabitants, nations on earth before Adam.

Remember that God told Adam to “replenish” the earth not plenish. Same thing He said to Noah.

  1. 18- “your sanctuaries”- lucifer was a priest.

He had more than one office.

Is. 14- “my throne”- He was a king. he had a kingdom.

He was a prophet- he was giving God’s word to the nations.

Only Jesus holds those offices.

Think of his influence. He turned the inhabitants of the earth against God. And every angel under him rebelled against God, invaded heaven and tried to overthrow God.

He rebelled, invaded heaven, was thrown out.

Creation and the Underworld

Gen 1:26

  1. 28- “replenish” the earth. Confirms there was a previous existence.

Gen 1:1- perfect

After that Lucifer fell, the earth was corrupted,

Billions of years later, the earth was restored. God said “Let…” a word of permission. He restored the earth to its original perfection.

He begins to create one more time: animal life, and man. He restored the earth.

“Let us”- Trinity

“subdue the earth”- means there was rebellion; this referred to satan and the demons; satan was still there; the pre-Adamic race, or demons, were and are in rebellion. Is. 24, Jer. 4

“have dominion over all fish, birds, creeping things”

Gen 2

  1. 1- “heavens”- shamayam- same word as Gen. 1:1. Both verses should be “heavens”

“made”- restoration

The garden was the entire Middle East, from Ethiopia all the way to where Iran is today. God created that as Adam’s house.

There was gold- Adam was introduced to wealth.

  1. 15

“If you eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you shall surely die.”

God formed the woman out of man. Her name was “Adam” before the fall. After the fall, she became Eve.

Gen. 5

The work of restoration is complete. Creation of man and woman.

There is a period of blessedness, fruitfulness and abundance, we do not know how long this went on.

Gen 3

I John 2:15-16- why and how the woman was tempted

Two important things:

  1. The moment they sinned, they realized they were nakedà They lost God-consciousness and gained self-consciousness.
  2. They hidà Fear is always the result of sin.

The Lord places five (5) curses after the fall:

  1. Curse on the serpent
  2. Curse on the woman- v. 16
  3. Curse on man, his body- v. 17
  4. Curse on the ground
  5. Curse of death- v. 19

  1. 15- “Her seed”- the virgin birth of Christ- the promise of a coming Messiah

enemy- satan- deceived the woman, and stole back from Adam all that the enemy had lost when he fell- and took also Adam’s dominion from him. He was back in authority of the earth.

But God placed a curse on the enemy and promise of destruction eternally through Jesus.

The devil came up with a plan to stop the coming of the Messiah.

Gen. 6

  1. 7- judgment is on creation- man, animals, – but not on the earth

2 Peter 3:5-8

Talking about the pre-Adamic flood.

2 Peter 3- “the world that then was”- Pre-Adamic- Gen. 1:2, Job 9, Ps. 104

“But the h and earth which are now, are…”

  1. 5- connected to Gen. 1:8- “divided the waters from the waters”-

the world that is now

  1. 7- judgment is on creation- man, animals, – but not on the earth

The world before Adam was fully destroyed- God destroyed the earth AND the inhabitants

In the flood of Noah, God only destroyed man and animals.

2 Peter refers to TWO floods.

Why was the second flood brought about? Why did God send

Because man was a mixture of angelic and human.

God created man, knowing the end from the beginning.

He planned our salvation, that His Son would die for humanity.

The devil’s first plan was to invade heaven. That failed.

His second plan was to pollute the seed of the woman, so Christ would not come, trying to prevent the coming of the messiah. Gen. 6:1-6

By keeping the Messiah from the earth, the devil would keep the dominion over the earth which he rec’d from Adam

His wicked, fallen angels slept with women, producing giants.

The only man found carrying the pure Adamic seed was Noah.

God judged those angels and sent them to the underworld, where to this day they are chained

Satan was sent to Sheol, to the grave, where his own demons said, “Have you become weak like us? You who weakened the nations…”

God said to Adam, “subdue the earth”- subdue the devil who is still planning to take over.

His evil, wicked angels take possession of the second heaven, which they still possess today.

What happened to these angels who were loose on the earth? God put them in “Tartarus”

Evil angels are in Tartarus.

Yet the authority of those angels are still in the second heavens.

Under the earth, there are five worlds:

The Pit

Lake of fire

Phil. 2- “under the earth”

The five worlds and their inhabitants:

Sheol- millions upon millions of souls are here, in hell, suffering in fire, waiting for Judgment Day

Paradise- empty

The Pit- millions upon millions of pre-Adamic inhabitants, known to us as demons

Tartarus- millions upon millions upon billions of angels are here

Lake of fire- no one now, but hell will eventually be thrown into this

Three other worlds:

Phil. 2- “under the earth

Sheol– translated “hell” in english; The abode of unrighteous souls. It’s a place of fire.

Deut. 32:22

“lowest hell”- it is an ongoing hell. There are deep depths to it.

Is. 38:10

Hell has “gates”

Hell has taken people before their time

Job 21:13- in a moment they go down to the grave

Rich man and Lazarus- Luke 16:19;

Luke 23:43- “today you will be with me in paradise”

Before he ascended,

Mt. 27:51- 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

Eph. 4:7- paradise

The Pit– the abode of demons- also called “the deep”

Luke 8:26

If they do not find a habitation, they have nowhere to go but the Pit.

Rev. 9:1

Apollyon is satan. After the halfway point of the Tribulation, Apollyon calls for demons because the world wants them. The saints are no longer there, having been raptured, the salt of the earth is no longer there to preserve it.

“star fell to the earth’à satan falling to earth

Permission to release them all

Demons are commanded not to destroy (twice in this passage). Demons would destroy anything unless commanded not to- people, earth also.

Tartarus (greek)- abode of angels that slept with women.

2 Peter 2:4 ff- “hell” is tartarus- connects it to the flood of Noah- the flood came in connection with what the angels did

Jude v. 6,7- left their habitation, slept with women- Sodom and Gomorrah did same thing, they went after “strange flesh”

1 Peter 3

Jesus went to Paradise, brought the saints out, and to Tartarus.

I Peter 3:18ff

“he went and preached unto the spirits in prison…” àprison is “tartarus” in the Greek. Why?

Spirits- angels; Psalms is says “his angels are ministering spirits”

Preach- the word is actually “proclaim”

He preached to the millions of angels who slept with women, who joined forces with satan and rebelled against God. They polluted the entire human race except for Noah, and tried to stop the Messiah from coming. They thought they succeeded, and we will get out of here one day because we won. They are chained for thousands of years. He proclaimed to them that He made it and prepared them for judgment day.

Lake of Fire

Mt. 25:41- created for the devil and his angels

One day, all the inhabitants of the five worlds will be thrown into the lake of fire. The other four worlds will be destroyed. The lake of fire will be there forever.

Is. 66- the lake of fire will last eternally

CD3- The Forces of Evil

Angels are not demons:

Angels are heaven-bound, demons are earth-bound

Rev. 12: à woman is the nation Isreal. We know that from Gen. 37, when Joseph had his dream and saw the sun, moon and stars bow to him. His father Jacob said rebukingly, “What do mean telling us this…?” Jacob felt that he and his wife were sun and moon and the stars were his children.

Rev 12:3 à This is the enemy satan who drew a third of the angels

Talking about the Lord

“fled” – to Jordan

  1. 7- during the Great Trib., satan will be cast to the earth like he was before the creation of Adam.

Many angels- the principalities and powers- are in the heavenlies now. During the last half of the GT, the last 3.5 years, these angels will be cast to the earth.

This is so powerful: The angels were fighting, yet the church was applying the blood. We how powerful the blood is and ever will be.

Eph. 6 talks about these prin. and powers. We wrestle against them.

Mt. 12:43

12 Truths about Demons from Matthew 12:43ff

They operate in the world around us, the natural, the earth. They are disembodied spirits that seek bodies to dwell in. They do not have bodies. They did possess bodies but lost them in their fall and destruction.

  1. “he walks”- they can travel
  2. “through dry places”- they can seek, search, they have some intelligence
  3. “seeking rest”- they get tired; there are different levels of strength in demons; some can be strong, others weaker
  4. “find no place”- they can see
  5. “he says”- they can speak
  6. “I will”- they have a will, they can decide; they are personalities
  7. “I will return”- they can think
  8. “from where I came out”- they have a memory
  9. “found it…”- they can examine
  10. They are persistent
  11. “takes seven other spirits”- they can plan
  12. They work together

Give no place to the devil

Luke 10:19- I give you power over all the power of the enemy

Ps. 91:13- tred on the lion, which is satan, and the cobra (demonic force) the young lion and the dragon (even satan himself)—IF someone is in the “secret place” and is in God’s will.

This is exactly what the Lord said in Luke 10:19

Mal. 4:2-3- result of the great move of God is treading on the devil. Who can tread on the devil? Those who fear the name of the Lord

Lev. 19:19- Moses was commanded by God not to allow mixture in the camp of Isreal- not cattle (don’t let horse mate with a donkey), or cloth (do not mix linen with wool), nor your seed. Anything that is a mixture cannot produce of itself. It is sterile.

“mingled see” àYou can’t mix lies or truth together. Seed always speaks of lies or truth.

Lifestyles- don’t mix them.

Don’t allow holy and unholy to come together. Or light and darkness to come together.

When we allow mixture, it opens us up to demonic attack.

Somexs demons can get in through these mixtures.

Keep you mind holy, your life holy.

Be careful with things you allow into your life and home.

Lev. 19:31- we cannot, must not ever be involved in anything demonic.

God will set His face against someone who is involved in the demonic.
Deut. 18:10-13-

Do not be involved in demonic.

God said to Israel: I am driving out the nations before you. If you allow those things in your life, God will remove you among his people.

Is it possible for someone to lose his salvation?

Yes. See Revelation. It is possible for your name to be erased from the Book of Life.

Saul lost the Holy Ghost and sought a familiar spirit. He was destroyed and killed for this. 2 Samuel, “It was as though he was never anointed.”

Those who go into the devil’s territory have denied and forsaken the Lord.

He says, “If you forsake Me, I will forsake you.”

Hebrews 6- If someone tastes the heavenly gift and walks away, there is no more place for repentence.

Esau sold his birthright. It is possible for believers today to lose their salvation.

Deut. 13

Joshua 7- the Lord forbids Israel from keeping anything demonic; that has the look, taste or speaks of the demonic.

One man taking something demonic- Achan- crippled the whole nation; they could not get victory against a small nation. Joshua sent men to scout the land; they said it was a small battle, we only need 2-3K men.

  1. 10- “get up, why are on your face…They have taken of the accursed thing.” Therefore Israel cd not stand against enemies. I will not be among you unless you destroy that accursed thing. The image represents your desire for satan. Achan explains: he took a garmant, gold coins, a wedge of coin which had emblem of a Babylonian image, which is demonic.

Acts. 19- when people burned their demonic things; the word grew among them, revival.

List of things never to allow near your homes:

Images, things that demons can see and look upon- includes books, magazines, pictures, statues, whatever symbolizes the demonic. TV programs,

Sounds– drumbeats, rock music

In false religions:

And people get into trances

CD4- Angelic Army

The war continues. We wrestle not against flesh & blood….

Enemy was jealous- that started it all.

Five Divisions in the devil’s Army:

Eph. 6:12-13; the enemy copied God because there are five divisions of angels in God’s army

Spirits– demons

Rulers of the Darkness of this World– men in Satan’s camp

Wicked Spirits in Heavenlies– fallen angels

Spirits- demons

Principalities- greek word is “Arkas” or “chief rulers of the highest rank.”

Powers- greek word is “Exousias” or “authorities”; these are under the chief rulers, executing their will.

Rulers of the Darkness of this World- World Rulers of Darkness- men possessed by demonic powers. This world, this “cosmos”, binds them to the natural. Men who demon led and demon moved.

Wicked Spirits in Heavenlies- Spiritual Wickedness in High Places- fallen angels

Eph. 6:10-18

Seven things we are commanded to do with the armor of God, as taught by Paul

These Seven Things Affect These Seven Areas of our Life:

  1. Mind
  2. Heart, Being
  3. Walk
  4. Faith, Actions
  5. Nature, Character
  6. Sword, Word of God- offensive
  7. Prayer

“Loins”- mind. Get word in your mind. Read, hear the word.

Heart- your Being- get word into your heart

Feet- your Walk- word must affect your walk, your actions.

Shield of faith- your actions.

Helmet of salvation- Doctrine- your Nature, Character- what you believe- balanced- not in some false way or error- stable

Sword of the Spirit- the word of God

Prayer- pray with all prayer and supplication

Now you can take back your ministry, family, finances, health and more.

Seven Revelations of Prayer:

Confession- of God

NOTE: confession of sin comes before prayer

Intercession- take the place of another and bring them to a place they ought to be in.

Five Divisions of Angels:

Seraphims- millions upon millions of seraphims

The first two are connected to heaven, to what’s going on in glory, heaven.

Seraphims- Is. 6:1 ff- a powerful scene describing them- millions upon millions upon millions in number.

They are connected to God’s glory. Every time you see seraphs, you see a revelation of God’s glory.

God’s glory deals with who He is, His attributes.

Ex. 34- who God is. When God revealed Himself to Moses

Ez. 1

Satan was a cherub- Lucifer- he was “the anointed cherub”- worship; his position had to do with God’s presence; protecting the very throne of heaven; walking up and down in the midst of the stones of fire in front of the throne.

Cherubims are connected to worship.

Every one had four faces, four wings. Right side: face of a man, and face of lion. Left side: face of an ox, and an eagle. Awesome being. Faces and wings stretched upward- worshipping. Cherub is connected to worship.

Paul wrote “I can’t even talk about what I saw.” Too awesome.

Two wings covered their body. They went straight forward.

Whenever you find the Holy Spirit, you find the ministry of the Cherubs. The Cherub is moved by the Holy Ghost, in heaven.

Gen. 3:22-24- Cherub protected the tree of life. Adam saw cherub.

Zoa– greek word is “zoa,” translated living creatures, also called beasts.

Rev. 4

  • We know about four of them
  • They are connected to God’s presence
  • Angels of revelation; they reveal to the heavens who God is

Different from the cherubs, also described as living creatures. How? All four have different faces. They have six wings, not four.

We know about four. The scripture does not tell us how many there are.

They are connected to the presence of God. And connected to the work of the Holy Spirit, as the seven lamps are before the throne.

How connected to God’s presence? Because they are crying out “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty” to God Himself. On the other hand, the seraphim are crying “Holy is the Lord” to one another and not actually to God.

Angels of revelation: “They have eyes all around”à they are the angels of revelation; they reveal who God is to the heavens.

“Who was and is and is to come”à revelation

Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns[b] of gold on their heads. And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. Thefour living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

“Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come!”

Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

11 “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”

They announce the coming of the Lord; Gabriel

Their main job is warfare. Both G and M. Gabriel fought the prince of Persia in Daniel 10, and Michael came to assist him.

Anything to do with the kingdom of Christ is the job of Gabriel.

Michael is given the charge of protecting the nation of Israel; that’s why in Daniel in Michael “your prince”

Acts 1:10- what they look like; they look like men

Hebrews 1:14- “are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for heirs of salvation”
