What is the Meaning of Life? Why are We on the Earth?

The Meaning of Life

God Almighty created the universe and all that is in it, including the earth and mankind. He created man to fellowship with, forever. He created mankind to be His children and to be in His family, forever. Amen!

The purpose of human existence is to know, walk with, and fellowship with God Almighty through Jesus Christ, forever. Man was made to fellowship with God and glorify Him, forever.

God Himself and His glorious presence is what Jesus Christ calls “the kingdom,” His primary message and most frequent subject, topic, and teaching when He lived as a man on the earth.

God came to earth as a man, Jesus Christ, and justified Himself to the world. Amen.

God’s presence is so glorious, beautiful, majestic, and wonderful, that humans cannot express Him in words. He is the answer to all that we want, need, and desire. We are here to fellowship with Him.

The earth is a temporary home and holding place, a test, a dress rehearsal, to determine where a person will spend eternity. Since man is God’s image and has a free will, God had to create a place for man to live, where every person would be able to choose who or what they serve.

All humans are in one of two categories: 1.) Followers of Jesus Christ, and 2.) people who do not follow Jesus Christ. Therefore, the two groups are: 1.) Children and followers of God through Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit; or, 2.) Potential children of God; people who follow and serve some way other than God through Jesus Christ.

God wants to save every person. God wants everyone to find Him through Jesus and be a child of God, forever. The tragedy is that most people will not find Jesus as Lord and Savior and will not make it to heaven. How can this be?

God made man into His own image and gave man a free will, just as God has a free will. Every person chooses through their beliefs, actions, and works, who or what they serve and give their heart to (our heart is our innermost being, their real self). God cannot make anyone receive Him or follow Him – or do anything. These truths are part of the “mysteries” Jesus teaches about (Matthew 13:11, Mark 4:11, Luke 8:10).

Everything God does is glorious, awesome, righteous, perfect, holy, and infinitely, eternally more. God’s creation is glorious and awesome. He created the earth and all that is in it. He created mankind and every person who has ever lived, 108 billion and counting. He has billions of angels in His armies. He and His kingdom and creation are always growing and expanding.

God Almighty is a loving, merciful, compassionate, patient and good God and Father and wants every human to make it to heaven.

Those who make it to heaven will spend eternity experiencing the great and awesome Jehovah Lord God Almighty.

For those on the earth, their primary purpose is to become like the Almighty God through His Son Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. A child of God does this by putting their old nature, the flesh, to death and allowing the Holy Spirit to indwell, fill and transform their spirit man, which is their real person, into the image of Jesus Christ, the Lord God Almighty. A follower Jesus is transformed into the image of Jesus Christ and goes from glory to glory, one glorious revelation of God Almighty, to another glorious revelation, and on and on. Amen.

If you have not already, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk with God. A follower of Jesus receives: eternal life, which is knowing the one true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent; life everlasting; the divine nature; the zoe, God-kind of, supernatural life; and infinitely more.
